It has been almost a year since I captured the stunning "Great American Eclipse" in 2024. This year, I stayed up all night - or morning (depending on your perspective) - to capture the lunar eclipse that took place Friday. I think the two works of art compliment each other nicely. Just imagine if you were on the moon during the lunar eclipse, and you would get to see the Earth eclipse the sun!

Last night, I attempted my first deep space astrophotography photo. I think my shot of the Orion Nebula turned out pretty awesome! This was achieved by stacking together over 100 photos with a total exposure time of 1.5 hours.

Svalbard was amazing! After sharing for a while, these two bears decided that they were tired of splitting their walrus carcass meal. All my bear photos were captured with a long telephoto lens.

The solar eclipse was incredible! I captured this 360 photo with my drone showing the sky during totality.

Fall is a beautiful time in Ohio. Yesterday, I made it out to Hocking Hills. The rain made the fall colors pop and created a moody atmosphere full of fog.

Botswana (part three)! This batch of photos contains leopards, cheetahs, and birds. Getting the opportunity to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat was incredible and these leopard photos are some of my favorite captures from the trip.

This obelisk seems out of place here in New York City. Cleopatra's Needles are a pair obelisks that were originally constructed at Heliopolis, Egypt (modern day Cairo) around 1,600 B.C. In 12 B.C., the Romans moved the obelisks to Alexandria. Lastly, in the late 1800s, the two obelisks were relocated to New York City and London. Despite the large crowds in the park, I had this beautiful piece of history all to myself.
