Last night’s final performance of the season of Tecumseh was special to me not only because I had my wife with me to see the show, but it meant so much to see so many of the cast shoot me a smile or a wave when they were out of view. A lot of times when you work with folks at events you don’t get to say hi and catch up at the event when you have to be “on”. It may sound like a small thing, but it means so much when folks do things like that. I appreciate you all, and the ones who are moving on to the next gig you will be missed!
To everyone who is staying and everyone else I got so speak with you are so appreciated. This started as another photography gig and has grown to feel so so included in this amazing extended family. I heard three times last night either “That’s our photographer!” Or “Wes is one of us!”. It truly means so much to hear and see that. What started as another contract has turned into one of my favorite things to do each year. Love you all and I’m not crying, you’re crying :)
