Calum & Ian suggested I make some still life tintypes with a western theme. Here's the unvarnished ones I made today. 2+ minute exposures and a minute + developing...good thing most of them were still lifes!

I've noticed lots of new views and likes on this page - I appreciate all the interest in my tintypes!

I'm sure many of you are waiting to see where I'll be headed this summer... unfortunately the start of my reenacting/tintype adventures for 2017 will be delayed. Please keep checking -- I will post when I know what events I am able to attend!

It's World Wet Plate Day! I participated! Please excuse the shadows. These were all taken in the water bath. The conditions weren't right for varnish, so I will post finished photos another day.

Unfortunately, the City of North Bend and I were unable to come to an agreement on a safe, cost-effective way for me to pursue my photography at Beauty and the Beast Antiques. So there is no longer an opportunity to work locally. Please look for me on the road at Civil War re-enacting events!
