I’m not going to pretend I understand. Growing up in Chino Hills, I either felt sheltered or safe. Social studies & history textbooks were my biggest exposure to racism and discrimination. Seeing that racism and injustice still exists, specifically in this nation, gets me so frustrated that history continues to repeat itself. My hometown gave me a slight glimpse of hope. No matter the gender, color, race, ethnicity, age, or religion: they were there TOGETHER TO LIVE TOGETHER. I refuse to silence my future. I want to do better. Stay passionate, stay angry, stay strong until there is peace for all. @ Chino Hills, California

RJ & Ana had planned to celebrate their love with their friends and family on May 23, 2020 together, and they still did. In a fashion that has become a norm during this pandemic. And it was still beautiful. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Mendoza!

Had another fun opportunity to photograph an engagement session at Disneyland with 2 of my fun friends! And I thank you both so much for being yourselves and making this session feel fun rather than a job. Finding nooks & crannies in such a big place to make it not look like Disneyland is my favorite. It makes you to stop and appreciate the detail Walt Disney and his team put into his parks! Next time your there, I HIGHLY recommend taking time to acknowledge the art and detail of Disneyland.

Wow. I’m always so grateful for the Malixi family whenever the holidays come along. Our first family shoot together was probably one of my very first family sessions to do and that’s when Abby, the youngest girl, was a wee lil lass. Having the opportunity to work with them is a joy because we get to grow up together every year; their kids and my journey in photography. Thank you Malixis, love you all!

It was pleasure meeting the Walden family. Melanie emailed me telling me she wanted an indoor family shoot to offset their “field-y” holiday photos, and of course I said yes (indoor shoots in the morning have been my JAM recently).
