Sometimes the perfect weather for a ceremony isn’t a bright sunny day, but a post rain storm that makes for the perfect backdrop! It’s crazy that the backdrop looks like this, but the actual weather was gorgeous outside!

I will always be grateful for how gorgeous California is no matter the weather! Everything about this day was picture perfect (even if the sand was a little overfilled and the bubbles blew away in the wrong direction)!

When Steve and Keith asked me to run around the wedding bowl with them, I don’t think they knew I’d ask them to hurdle cliff sides and avoid the wildlife! The squirrels are always wayyy too friendly, and the birds don’t care how close you get to them!

These two were such troopers with some of the most ridiculous prompts, navigating multiple shoots in a tiny space, and all the big laughs I forced them to do! We had so much fun and I love how their photos turned out!!!

Would you believe me if I told you that we got all of these photos and poses in under 30 minutes? Would you also believe if I told you they picked out these outfits right before the shoot?

I love whenever I get the chance to capture family, especially when my nieces come with all the fun and goofy energy! There was plenty of laughter, outtakes, and I’m pretty sure we had a mini weight lifting competition in the middle of the shoot! We had so much fun OC Branding Photos + Studio Rentals, Spark Studios ! It’s the perfect place for adults, kids, and toddlers to have THE BEST time!

I loved it so much I decided to do a few minis there! If you’d like to snag a spot, I’ll be there on 9.26 in the am! This is the perfect opportunity for your family holiday cards (and in an enclosed room so your toddler can’t run away)!

My favorite thing about sessions with parents and their kids is when they aren’t afraid to have fun! We love a pillow fight, bounce on the couch moment, or even aggressive twirls!

I think at this point I’m just going to rebrand as a “life photographer”! It’s such a honor to capture all these little ones joining the families of my long time couples! I just had a conversation with one of my 2022 couples about how many photoshoots we’ve done since then…it was over 6! It’s so incredible getting to capture every milestone, and I’ll never be able to thank my couples enough for letting me walk along side of their lives.

What are these best for?
-Family, maternity, engagement! Best for Holiday Card sessions

How many people can I bring?
-As many as you want but know that if you want extended family I recommend a full hour session.

Can I bring my furry friend?
-To the garden, yes. To the beach? No.

When my husband asks me why I’m always hunched over I blame my photography business…and these are only the clips that people have taken of me!

I’ve noticed I’ll hurdle, bend, or stretch for the shot you need! While I have twisted an ankle, threw my back out, and have somehow physically gotten stuck on a fence while trying to hop it (sorry mom and dad), I love doing whatever needs to be done for the shot! I will say, I do miss the days that my knees allowed me to spring up from a squat and take off running….

Please send me your favorite photographer postures or the wildest thing you’ve done for a shot!
