🤍 It’s always the quiet little moments that stay with me the longest.

The gentle pat on the neck after a good run.
The scratches on the withers while waiting for the next class.
The forehead kisses, the whispered “good jobs,” the celebratory hugs, and even the extra reassurance after a ride that didn’t quite go as planned.

As your photographer, I see those moments.

I see the love, the trust, the gratitude, and the partnership that exists long before you ever step into the show pen.

Those fleeting seconds often become some of my favorite photographs because they remind me that ribbons fade, but the bond between a horse and their person is something truly special.

So keep giving those pats. Keep sneaking those hugs. Keep telling them they’re the best horse in the world, even when they have an off day.

I promise… someone is noticing. ❤️🐴

💕 Little photographer confession…

One of my favorite parts of every horse show isn’t photographing the winners.

It’s the huge smiles after a great ride.
The proud parents watching from the rail.
The horse that knows they did a good job.
The laughs between friends while waiting for the next class.

Those little, unscripted moments are what make the day so special.

I had such a wonderful time at the CHHA show that I ended up taking SO many candids that I had to split them into two separate galleries just to fit them all! 😂📸

So when you’re browsing your rider’s gallery, don’t forget to take a peek at the candid albums too. You just might find your favorite memory hiding there. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who made Saturday such an incredible day. I truly love getting to preserve these moments for our amazing horse community.

It’s only 9:30 AM and everyone is already looking absolutely AMAZING! 🤩✨ The smiles are bright, the horses are shining, and the energy around the arena has been incredible so far.

We’ve still got a whole day of showing ahead, so let’s keep those good vibes rolling! Cheer each other on, make some memories, stay hydrated, and most importantly… have FUN! 💙📸
