Every time I get to photograph a father with his kids, I’m reminded: it’s not about “the perfect pose”— it’s about the connection.

The way he holds their hand, the pride in his eyes, the little in-between moments that say everything, without a single word.

🎓 Aj Teig - Bloomer High Class of 2026 🎓

When I was reached out to by a senior’s family about taking senior photos out on an ice rink, I knew that I had a cool *no pun intended* opportunity! I had never done anything like it, but I’m really glad how they turned out!! ❄️

Aj is a senior at Bloomer High School this year. He grew up on the ice, playing for the Northwest Icemen. Aj was raised around faith, often seen praying before taking the ice. This will be Aj’s last year playing for the Northwest Icemen. I wish him luck as he moves into the next chapter in his life!🎉

Thank you to all those who have recently started following. Feel free to check out some of my past work; otherwise, I have some more awesome photos coming out in the near future as soon as they’re done being edited. Those should be coming out in about a week or so. It’s a super cool senior photo set taken on a hockey rink! Then, following those, about 2 weeks into April will have a set of family photos coming out. Then, (potentially) I’ll be shooting photos for some artists performing at Force Fields in Cadott. A few months ago I reached out to this band after seeing their event on Facebook, asking if I could shoot some photos for them. Not only was it an event I was genuinely interested in, but they accepted my offer and allowed me to come take those photos. Here are some of those photos!

Last Saturday was hands down one of the most fun opportunities I’ve had since I took up photography a few years back. Definitely was an opportunity out of my comfort zone in terms of editing, because it was so challenging working with the colored lighting, and going from taking photos with ample outdoor lighting to hardly any. Despite the challenges, I’m really excited and hopeful for more opportunities like this, or maybe even some area festivals in the future because you can never stop learning new skills as a photographer!
