This Saturday, September 12, 2026, our community will come together for our Drug Awareness & Memorial Drive, Honoring the Life of Parker Martindale, but we need your help to make this event all that it can be!

πͺ WE ARE LOOKING FOR LARGE TABLES & CHAIRS TO BORROW FOR THE DAY
Do you have access to large folding tables or chairs that we could borrow for the event on Saturday, September 12, 2026?
We are hoping to avoid having to move tables and chairs back and forth between all three event locations.
We are looking for temporary loans/borrows for the day of:
β Large tables
β Folding tables
β Chairs
β Other event equipment
If you, your business, church, organization, or family has equipment we could borrow for the day, please reach out!
π― FAMILY GAME LOANS NEEDED!
We are also looking to borrow family-friendly outdoor games for Saturday, September 12.

πββοΈ WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
We are looking for reliable community members who would be willing to volunteer for all or part of the event.
π VEHICLE REGISTRATION VOLUNTEERS
We need at least 2β3 volunteers to help with on-site vehicle registration for the Memorial Drive.
Responsibilities may include:
β’ Checking in registered vehicles
β’ Assisting with on-site registrations
β’ Recording vehicle and driver information
β’ Helping organize the vehicle lineup
β’ Directing participants where they need to go
ποΈ RAFFLE VOLUNTEERS
We need volunteers to assist our 501(c) organization with running the raffle.
Responsibilities may include:
β’ Helping sell or organize raffle tickets
β’ Assisting with raffle prize displays
β’ Helping locate winners
β’ Announcing or assisting with prize winners
β’ Making sure prizes are distributed to the correct winners
β’ Keeping the raffle area organized
πΆ EVENT & CROWD FLOW VOLUNTEERS
Because this is a three-location Cloquet community event, we need volunteers to help guide and direct attendees as they move between event locations.
We are looking for people willing to help:
β’ Direct attendees to the next event location
β’ Help answer questions
β’ Help keep the event flowing smoothly
β’ Assist families, vendors, and participants
β’ Help direct crowds when the Memorial Drive transitions between locations
π GENERAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS
We also need a few people who are willing to jump in wherever help is needed throughout the day.
This could include:
β’ Helping vendors get situated
β’ Assisting with games and activities
β’ Helping at information tables
β’ Helping with setup and cleanup
β’ Assisting speakers and community partners
β’ Helping direct people
β’ Running errands between event locations
β’ Helping wherever something comes up
If you're someone who just wants to show up and help wherever you're needed β WE NEED YOU TOO!

We are accepting donations through Friday, September 11, 2026, or donations may be brought on-site between 10:00 AM and Noon on Saturday, September 12, before the event begins.
We are looking for donations including:

π Family-friendly products
π Raffle prizes
π Other items that can be donated to support the event

We are also looking for a local business, organization, or individual who would like to sponsor the decorations and supplies for the event.
Items needed include:

π Signs for vehicle registration
π Signs for the raffle area
π Location markers
π Candles for the candlelight vigil at the Cloquet Skatepark

This is a three-part community event in Cloquet, Minnesota starting at O'Reilly's Auto parts for food, raffles, and community gathering from noon-3pm, at 3pm we will announce we are moving to the next location Veterans Park in Clouqet.
Here you can! Enjoy free games and free prizes, free root b**r! Floats probably offered by the marksman trading Post while supplies last, enjoy our keynote, speakers, resources and resource booths which will be handing out educational information about the drug crisis in our community, how we can do our part to stay informed, the different things our children might be doing, how to help, as well as mental health resources, family and drug rehabilitation resources, and NA in person and virtual meeting resources.
At around 6:45 we will announce our registered vehicles to line up for the Memorial Drive which will be led by the Cloquet Police department at 7:00 -7:15pm to our last and final location.

Here we will have a candlelight vigille for Parker Martindale, a prayer for the family and those who are struggling with drug abuse and mental illness, those who have lost loved ones due to accidental overdose or products labeled as safe for consumption such as Parker, as well as our announcement on what the event raised for the family and what they intend to do with their Memorial funds.

The event will conclude at 8pm.
This event is bringing our community together to raise awareness about substance use, mental health, recovery, and the importance of protecting and supporting our youth.
