In a pretty rare move, a loaded coal train took the Christiansburg district into Roanoke yesterday. Here we see NS 826, with a dash 9 leader, coming east by a whistle post in Shawsville. A little later on 820 came behind it. There was some work being done on the Whitethorne side for part of yesterday.
