Love.
The emotion of love is shined brightly through all of these images. I had the honor of photographing the Camacho family for holiday inspired minis. Let me just say, they were one of the sweetest couples I've met. The connection between Rose & Isaiah was strong. Just looking at these photos reminds me of the emotion. Her husband Isaiah has been out on deployment for the last seven months. Returning home safe and sound for the holidays, to be welcomed by his beautiful wife and handsome baby boy. I asked them to look into their partners eyes for a few seconds, letting them talk through their eyes. And that's when I captured those sweet moments.
I asked if they felt that their love grew stronger because of the deployment. The answer was a simple, yes.
I hope this inspires many other military spouses or significant others to remember that deployment is only temporary. You and your spouse may be miles away, but the one thing that doesn't fade is love. If Rose could do it while being pregnant, then so can you.
