October is for photographers what April is for tax accountants- a complete whirlwind. And yet, every time I sit down to edit photos from a family session, I am filled with hope for three things: that your kids had fun, that they will remember we let them be themselves and that you will treasure all of the ways we captured that. Do I want gorgeous images? Of course I do. I do my very best to make that happen. But those other three things, they are what really counts.

I love that every senior I see has their own unique personality. I love getting to know them, hearing their plans, and showing them how beautiful they really are. This girl is going to go so far!

The Art of Play might be the greatest theme of all time for the Ronald McDonald House gala! I was asked to help photograph this event, but truly it was so much fun for me too! The decorations were on point, the speakers were inspirational, the fundraising was EPIC and the entertainment was incredible. RMH does so much more than give people a place to stay and a much needed warm meal, they give kids a place to be kids despite hard circumstances, and they give families a chance to be together when they need it most.

Happy Fall! I love when the weather gets crisp, even though I'll miss the butterfly days of summer. I wanted to share that I'm officially sold out of sessions for the rest of 2026.
