A year ago this past weekend (September 6th to be exact) I had spent the day celebrating Autumn & Carson becoming one, and captured their beautiful wedding day! Fast forward to March of this year, the two of them loaded up from northern Indiana and made the drive to Cincinnati to welcome me back another time to capture their maternity pictures. Shortly after their maternity session, they welcomed their sweet baby boy into their family, and I had the privilege to yet again, capture another precious memory for them; their first family pictures as a party of 5!

I have had the honor to be invited back time and time again to be the one to preserve so many beautiful memories for them to hold onto for a lifetime, and that is something I will NEVER take for granted. Autumn & Carson have both turned into friends, and to think it all started with them trusting the girl with a camera and a dream to shoot their wedding will always mean so much to me!

This is exactly why I do what I do. For the memories, the milestones, the growing families, and the relationships that come along with it all!

Forever grateful they trusted me with that very first chapter — and even more grateful I get to keep coming back for the ones that follow! 🤍

Just some little moments of what makes it all worth it. 🤍

I’d be lying if I said I haven’t sat down and wondered if stepping away from photography would be for the best. But having people continue to show up, support me, invite me back time and time again, and send messages like these has been such an eye-opening reminder that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Knowing that the moments I capture become memories you’ll cherish forever is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m nowhere close to where I pray I’ll be one day, but I’m exactly where I belong in this season, and I’m so thankful for the journey, the incredible people I’ve met along the way, and all of the memories we’ve created together. I can’t wait to see where this journey continues to take me and all that God has in store!
