Believe it or not, this type of photo has been controversial among photographers and others for years. As a photographer, I love the intention of this photo. As a past bride, I actually requested this photo from my photographer on my wedding day!

To some, this is just a photo. To others, they don't see the beauty in it. But to me, it feels like the perfect example of how love feels. like nothing else matters when you're in the arms of the love of your life. Like your world is standing still when you're looking into the eyes of the person you love. It's like a moment frozen in time, even though it's really only the two of you who feel it.

As a photographer, this is an image I would give to my couples with pride - knowing I created something that looked the way their love felt on one of the most important days of their lives. As a girl who has been a bride myself, this is a photo I would love to receive, knowing my photographer understood what it felt like to be me in that moment.

I also think this photo is symbolic for another reason, on the craziness of your wedding day, you and the person you love are the most important part. Remember to take time for just the two of you and enjoy every second.
