Most Cincinnati couples book their wedding photographer 9 to 18 months in advance. That's not me trying to scare you into booking. That's just what the calendar looks like.

If your date is in the fall, that window gets even tighter. September and October fill up faster than any other season here, and once those dates are gone, they're gone.

Here's a rough guide so you know where you stand:
18+ months out: You've got options, take your time.
12 months out: Solid spot, most couples are right here.
6-9 months out: Move quickly, especially for fall dates.
Under 6 months: Reach out right away, some dates are still open.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day will always be getting ready!

Everyone’s together, the music’s playing, emotions are all over the place, and every little moment starts to feel real. Moms buttoning dresses, bridesmaids reacting for the first time, the nervous excitement before walking down the aisle. It’s such a special part of the day to document. These moments happen so quickly, but they always end up meaning the most later on.

I’ll never get over under-the-veil shots. There’s something so intimate and timeless about them. Just the two of you tucked away from the world for a quiet moment before the party begins.
