45 years ago, I became fascinated with “life through the lens”. My first 35mm camera let me view the world in a different way, seeing details that might normally be missed by the naked eye. I want people to actively en
gage with my pictures.
My background includes a degree in photography and many photographic awards. It has also afforded me many amazing experiences. I feel that art should be equally beautiful and immersive. If you are drawn to my photographs, if there is something that connects you, then I have done my job.
After graduating from college with a photography degree, Pete started with traditional photography.
He opened Perfect Exposure Photography in Cincinnati, Ohio over 30 years ago. His work consists of portraiture, bo***ir, commercial, and event photography. He has been asked to photograph Barack and Michelle Obama, the Dali Lama, Senator/astronaut Mark Kelly, the late Joe Morgan, Cal Ripkin Jr., Joe Theisman, Jamie Fox, and more. His work has also been published in magazines including Sports Illustrated for Kids, Better Homes and Gardens, and Wood Magazine. His real love is still fine art photography. Throughout his career, Mr. Coleman has had many photos showcased, including the Best of Black and White Exhibit at Laurent Gallery, Melbourne, Australia; My Favorite Shot Exhibition, Ravnikar Gallery Ljubljana, Slovenia, Light Up Cincinnati and was featured in the Cincinnati Graeter’s Ice Cream Photo Calendar Contest amongst others.
