A good book, comfy clothes and a photoshoot. What more could you ask for?

We had such a fun time with Terra (and all her books) in the studio. Lots of laughs were had. A few Michael Jackson “hee hees” were hollered.

A lot of our clients come from out of town, so it’s always cool when we have a Ciscoan in front of the camera.

We’re currently booking for the 40 Over 40 Project Vol. 2. The experience includes:

Michelle has been such a joy to work with. This shoot was a long time coming, and I’m so glad we finally made it happen.

It was hard to choose what to share first. But doesn’t she look great in pink?

Thursday evening was marvelous. We had the Abilene showing of the 40 Over 40 Project (Vol. 1). If you weren’t able to make it Thursday, you can check it out Monday or Tuesday from 7:30am-5:00pm at Cedar Street Coffee & Venue.

If I had to sum up how I feel about this project in one word, it would be fulfilled. All the conversations had were inspiring and validating.

In my mind, these 40 women have become one group. After spending over a year hearing their stories, creating their portraits, and putting together the magazine and exhibit, it almost feels like they should all know each other. It’s always funny to get everyone in the same room and realize that’s not the case. But without fail, the conversations start, stories are shared and connections are made. Another beautiful part of this whole thing.

I’m blown away by the support, the trust and the encouragement that I receive from all over Texas. You all make me have no doubt that I’m doing the right thing with my life.

These photos are some I took at the beginning and end of the event. I want to thank Roz for helping me set up (and everything else she’s done with this project).

Thanks to Cedar Street Coffee for being wonderful and staying open during the event so all of our guests could stay hydrated (and caffeinated).

So now… who’s ready for 40 Over 40 (Vol. 2).? 🤩
