DOUBLE X is a small company based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

I have been a huge supporter of XX Backpacks for years now and it was a great honor to put together this short film to promote their brand.

Due to the current conflict, Double X was forced to initially put a hold on operations, but they were fairly quickly back up and running and continue to hold strong.

Their products are made of high-quality material and represent a sleek, modern, and minimalistic design.

Many of their products are also available using the material of the larger bag you see here in the video: the eco-friendly, highly durable, and reflective Tyvek material which emits a glow in the dark.

This was my second time working on a video project with my sister-in-law, Lily, and my first time working with my brother, Ally.

I couldn't be more proud of their performance, and this video would absolutely not be what it is without these two and their creativity during the day of the shoot, as well as their willingness to come together with me two more times for additional audio coverage to finalize the project.

You guys are rock stars. Thank you for your time, your creativity, and your patience.

I wasn't able to find a spot for it in the final edit so I wanted to get a chance to share it, along with a few screen grabs from the final edit - Sara & Matt's Wedding Part 3. 💐🥂

By the time the reception rolls around, everyone is ready to party.

In Part 3, the final section of Matt and Sara's wedding film, the guests and newlyweds unwind and things get groovy!

Once more, a huge and final shoutout to my second camera person--my sister, Lex Spichka. For running (and driving) around with me for 13 hours, camera in hand, never missing a precious moment. 🙂

Sara and Matt had a beautiful outdoor wedding in one of the most gorgeous places in northern California--Ananda Village, Nevada City.

In Part 2, Sara and Matt are surrounded by mountains as they share their intimate vows for one another before family and friends. Everyone gets a little caught off guard once the two begin exchanging rings.

Thank you to my second shooter (camera), Lex Spichka, for capturing those extra angles that I couldn't have gotten on my own. 👩🏼‍💼📷

Last October, my sister and I drove out to Nevada City to film our first wedding. It was a 13 hour day for us but we were so pumped on adrenaline that we could barely sit down to eat by the time the reception rolled around.

Sara and Matt were so much fun. It was an honor to come out to document and experience their special day with them.

This was one of my favorite moments that day and I love that we got to capture it up close and personal. ☺️
