This was unexpected! I was named one of the elite 100 photographers for 2025 by Senior Year Magazine! This magazine showcases photographers from across the country! I was one of 7 chosen from Michigan! I didn't even know I was in the running! But I'll take it! 😊

Well... This is exciting! We've been published in The Senior Year Magazine Best of 2025 edition featuring quite a few of my favorite Class of 2026 Seniors!

Congratulations, Bailie, Nick, Preston C, Sofia, Melayna, Brooks, Casey, Preston K, Sukhi, Caden, Ellery, and Parker! I'm so happy that Senior Year Magazine was able to see you the way that I see you!

P. S. I was chosen to be a featured photographer in this issue! And yes, I'm well past due for my own professional headshot! Haha. There's also a typo on my feature page, but it will be corrected prior to print!

Preston | Class of 2026

Another Preston! Another natural in front of the camera. And.... he wore a suit!!!! I love when senior guys wear suits!

This was such a fun session! We had to move fast at each location. We originally planned on 1-2 and then fit in 4! We cut it close, but it worked out!

Preston enjoys camping, hiking, and going to Piston's Games! He's also in the French Club and is working on earning his seal of biliteracy. He's on teen court and plans to pursue a career in law!

Enjoy the rest of senior year, Preston!

Preston is a straight up natural in front of the camera! He's not loud or boisterous, so I was pleasantly surprised by the absolute confidence that came forth during his session!

A parent of seniors that I photographed in years past, enlightened me to the beauty of the PollyAnn Trail and these specific locations! I love them! When we were figuring out locations for Preston's session, the trail came to mind! It was perfect!

Preston is a senior at CHS who loves music and is a talented singer and guitarist. In his free time, he performs with his band at various venues across metro Detroit and plans to pursue his music even further after graduation. When he isn't creating or performing, you can find him hiking in the woods or working at the local woodshop.

Casey | Class of 2026
Clarkston High School
Casey is a Wide Receiver for Clarkston's Football Team! When he's not in school, or playing football, he keeps busy working at a local restaurant.

Casey's session was planned for Downtown Clarkston the same day as "Taste of Clarkston." That wouldn't have worked! We switched to Downtown Oxford! It was a perfect nearby option!

For the second location, we had permission to use Clarkston's Football field. Great! But when we arrived, the parking lot was full!! It was the week of homecoming and Powderpuff practices were underway! Fair! We all managed to share the field, but I was on high alert! Despite a couple of close encounters, we got some great images!

Clarkston is in post-season now and hoping for a win tonight! Good luck to Casey and the rest of the Wolves!

Justin | Class of 2026
Clarkston High School

Justin entered senior year ready to finish strong! He is the drum major of Clarkston High School's marching band and the secretary of the school's drama club. He's also a member of the National Honors Society. When he's not busy with his leadership roles, Justin enjoys hanging out with his friends, watching football with his family, and enjoying quality time with his dog, Cooper. Justin would like to pursue a career in film in or tv production.

Justin's session was held in Downtown Clarkston + Depot Park. It's my local favorite! And perfect for Clarkston seniors! I loved working with Justin! He's so easy going! What a fun session!

Ellery | Class of 2026
Such a fun session! Ellery's reflexes were put to the test when my folded reflector popped open and tried to fly high in the air, ultimately destined for the lake. Her softball experience paid off because she jumped high quickly to rescue it from ruin! The rest of the session was less exciting, thankfully! But she did a fantastic job throughout! Have a great senior year, Ellery!
