You ever look at something you’ve had for a while and go “Damn, there’s no way it’s been that long, has it?”

This Para 3 has been with me since 2021. I forget what achievement we’d hit at work, but I remember distinctly telling myself, “If this happens, I’m getting a Para 3.” Then we hit it, I got my Para 3, and it rode in my pocket 100% of the time for the next 2 years. Then I got a couple other folders, and it’s time reduced to ~80%.

Crazy how the smallest thing can remind you of how much life can change in 5 years.

When it comes to striker-fired handguns, if it doesn’t have an SCD, I don’t want it 😂

At GOALS, I discovered Langdon quietly developed a Strike Control Device for the Hellcat, and I’m excited to say, the Hellkitten has arrived 🐈‍⬛

And of course, it wouldn’t be an LTT gun without some trigger work. Langdon cleaned up the pull substantially using the Apex kit, dropping about a pound off the pull weight, cut over-travel, and shortened the reset.

It’s the end of an era 👇

My firearm journey got started with a CZ 75B, and now it, the 75BD, and 75 Compact are going the way of the dodo bird.

For decades the CZ 75 was the flagship for CZ, and it inspired dozens of pistols we all know and love today, like Tanfoglio’s most popular models, and the beloved IWI Jericho.

It was such a popular design that even U.S. manufacturers were bringing in clones it during the Cold War, like Springfield Armory with the P9.

Later, C**t would partner with CZ to produce the Z40 just a few years after the Iron Curtain fell 👈 Talk about some irony.

Fortunately my favorites, the P-01 and SP-01, will continue the legacy of the 75 series.

Had the pleasure of hanging out with Work The Trigger - Andrew from Variant Innovation on the range, and he brought out a Ch***pa Rhino 👀
Easily the most interesting revolver design of the century.

If you’ve never seen one, the Rhino fires from the bottom chamber of the cylinder instead of the top. It drops the bore axis down to the web of your hand.

It had noticeably less flip than your traditional revolver, but that recoil goes straight into your palm. It’s the most interesting recoil impulse I’ve felt on a handgun to say the least.

Had to cut through Illinois for GOA’s GOALS event recently. I know, disgusting 🤢

As a Hoosier I can’t carry into Illinois, because we still don’t have federally protected reciprocity for concealed carry permits (because your inalienable rights stop at state borders).
Under FOPA, the legal process for interstate transport is to fully unload the firearm and lock it somewhere that’s inaccessible from the passenger compartment.

Thankfully, the Drifter 2 is large enough to fit my holstered P30SK with a Holosun 509T, and my spare magazine, without any issues.

So when traveling through a state that doesn’t honor your inalienable rights, make sure you’re following the guidelines set out in the Firearm Owners Protection Act (FOPA), and that you have the number for a fi****ms attorney licensed in that state.

Or don’t, I’m not your Dad.

I’ve been watching a ton of police chase videos on YouTube, and there’s ALWAYS a cop with the stupidest rifle setup going.

Case in point, running a pistol light on the lower handguard, backed up against the foregrip.

Remember, just because your neighbor might be a cop, doesn’t mean he’s a gun guy.
