Some of you may recall my trip through Donner Pass a couple of years ago. I got really deep into the history of the incident back then. Well, I just became aware that the Donner Party passed through an area now known as the Silver Island Mountain Range. There is even a place there named Donner Canyon.
It just so happens that in a few weeks I'll be passing through that area! Once again I'm being drawn into the history of that fateful journey for so many poor souls that were just trying to make their way to a better place. I'll be digging up whatever info I can find and hopefully have something to share with you when I return!

A lot of folks want to know "What's next?" Well, next up is Overland Expo Mtn West in Loveland Colorado! An Overland Expo is an event where Vendors display their newest products for the Overlanding community to see up close and personal.
It's also a great opportunity to meet some of your favorite YouTube folks! Below are some photos from my last visit to Overland Expo Mtn West a couple of years ago.
This event will be held late August and after the event I'll be heading out on an adventure with some very special folks from the show! More info on that coming soon!
