Getting up at 5:30 a.m. is not my idea of fun, but if you want to capture a photograph of a rocket launch, you’ve gotta make some sacrifices.
This was my first attempt at capturing a long exposure of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch, and I learned a few lessons.
It reminded me of photographing the Milky Way: many things need to line up to get a great shot; the weather, camera settings, focal length, angle, and composition.
I will definitely go back to do it again. 🚀
