Since "retiring" from professional photography back in 2018, for the most part I no longer accept "commissions for hire." There are exceptions to the rule. During my 35+ year career, I had the opportunity and the honor of creating the "official" portraits for several of the Lebanon County Judges. Back in June of 2024 I was asked to create a portrait for the newly-elected, Hon. Donna Long-Brightbill and having known her and her husband, "Chip" for most of my life, I was honored to do so. This morning I delivered the "official" image to the Judge in her chambers. It will soon join the others in it's own place of honor on the walls of Courtroom No.1.

I'm a little late in posting these but here are my entries from the PPA of PA 2025 Inspire Convention back in March. Since closing my studio in January of 2018 to pursue full-time ministry, I have not had much time for photography. I still enjoy creating images to enter into competitions just to keep my skills sharp and to allow my "creative" side explore the world around me. Enjoy!

This past weekend, the PPA of PA held their fall competition. Since retiring from photography, I don't pick up a camera very often except to occasionally create images that come into my head and of course photograph trains. Here are my four entries, a variety of subjects and techniques. Enjoy!

With the sun quickly setting and the twilight interrupted with approaching storm clouds, NS #4822 (AC44C6M) leads the NS-23G consist as it approaches the Annville Train Station. He was moving fast adding to the challenge of maintaining a sufficient shutter speed and aperture combination with extremely low light. This is my first time seeing this newly painted locomotive meant to honor the dedication of NS employees. Thanks to Darrel Moyer for the H/U and to all those east of us for tracking it's progress.
