True story: this summer, a fellow wedding vendor pulled up my website and said “is this you?!” when they saw my photo, so I figured it was about time for some updated photos of me on the feed!

Hi, it’s me, Jess, the one behind the camera!

My existing clients know what a goofball I am and what my baby business means to me, they know that everyone’s welcome around here and that I’ll do basically anything, including embarrass myself, to make a crabby child (or adult) crack a smile during a session.

But if you’re new here, welcome! I’m so glad to have you. 🥰

This session had everything I love about early fall shoots.

I always love it when a couple comes to me and says “we’re so awkward, we don’t know how to take pictures”, because I love a challenge, but the truth is these two weren’t challenging at all. They trusted the process and they ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT. Lean into your love for each other, and the pictures will show it.

I can’t wait to capture their wedding next summer ❤️

There’s got to be a science behind what makes little fingers and toes so dang cute!

This has been a very newborn-heavy season for me, which I LOVE! So expect to see lots more tiny lil hands soon 🥰

Everyone knows I looooove a romantic beach session!

This session with Ally + Nick on the beach had me going through so many emotions. Mostly cracking up, threatening to throw up from cuteness, and freaking out trying to keep a safe distance from the seagulls (sky rats).

Let’s be real: photographing weddings is a lot of work.

Sometimes it feels daunting or overwhelming—lots of time an effort goes into the planning, the ex*****on, and the aftermath. BUT, without fail, I leave every wedding with my creative cup filled to the brim, a smile on my face, and an overwhelming feeling of joy that I get to do what I love so much, and people pay me for it!!

Michelle & Kevin’s love for each other reminds me why I shoot weddings. Stay tuned for many more posts from this day, because I know I for sure can’t be the only one to swoon at the way they look at one another 🥰❤️
