How do these photos make you feel?
When I look at them, I don’t just see an event, I see connection. The in-between moments. The quiet reactions, the hugs, the shared understanding between people in the room.
I’ve had the honor of photographing Collaborate Cleveland’s Annual Women’s Breakfast every year since the beginning, and one of my favorite things about these events is that people don’t just come to learn, they come to connect.
This year’s breakfast centered around care and caregiving, and you could feel the openness and vulnerability in every conversation throughout the morning. Those candid moments, the emotional reactions, shared stories, and small interactions between attendees, are always what stand out to me most behind the camera.
Collaborate Cleveland has built such a genuine sense of community, and documenting these spaces year after year is something I’m incredibly grateful for.
