Spent the last week with some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met running through the mountains from sunrise to sunset, admiring the springtime wild flowers, chasing the beautiful waterfalls and cascades throughout the mountains, watched the birds, bears and even some frisky bees enjoying this amazing weather. I seriously at this point couldn’t be any happier than I am right now.

Dipped my feet back into the photography pool, met some amazing people and new friends whome I shared a lot of laughs.... and short jokes with.... and found an entirely new sense of motivation to get back at it and run. Not to mention a couple wild goose chases for false positive River side dogwoods, “Turkey Bears” and multiple cans of pringles.

This week was every bit of a dream and I’m so thankful to have been able to get out there. I had a blast and cannot wait to see what the rest of this year holds.

Took the boys for a ride to the Mountains and into Cades Cove yesterday afternoon. Snapped a few photos of the horses from the riding stable as they were moving to the far field.

Not too shabby for 6months of not touching a camera. Plenty to work on for the future but it’s great to be out again. Oh how I’ve missed it. This was most definitely the highlight of our ride.
