Descend At Own Risk - Mooney Falls is the tallest waterfall in Havasu canyon, plunging about 200 feet. Descending to the bottom means scaling down a near vertical cliff while clinging to chains and ropes for dear life. Wooden ladders have been installed, but the descent to the bottom is definitely not for the faint of heart.

People of the Blue-Green Water - Havasu Creek runs through the homeland of the Havasupai Tribe, whose name translates to “the people of the blue-green water.” They call Supai, AZ home which is considered the most remote town in the US and is the last place where mail is still carried in and out by mules. The town and its waterfalls can only be reached by a 10-mile hike dropping deep into the Grand Canyon, but every step is worth it! Few places match the beauty of this canyon and I was lucky enough to spend a few days photographing it!
