If you're a new member of The Class of 2027, you've most likely received information about scheduling your yearbook photo. But I'll let you in on a little secret: your yearbook photo and senior photos are NOT the same thing. And honestly, they shouldn't be. 📸

Your yearbook photo is a 5-minute, same-backdrop, same-drape photo that looks just like everyone else's. There's nothing wrong with that! It serves its purpose.

But when it comes to your senior portrait experience, that's a whole different story. You have all the best things for your session:

Let's start June off right with another look back at a senior session from this spring!

Like me, Mackenzie loves to spend time around nature and the outdoors, so we made it our mission to pick a location she loves for pictures 😍 Right along the Ocoee River are some of the most beautiful spots in this area, and the weather was perfect!

Mackenzie loves listening to country music and spending time with her friends. Now that she has officially graduated from Polk County High School, she is still planning to attend college this fall for nursing. 🎓

I'm excited to follow all of her adventures 😎

Let's keep the photo fun going with Senior Saturday! Riley was one of my favorite sessions from this spring, and honestly, it deserves another moment in the spotlight. 🌸✨

One of Riley's fav musicians is Dominic Fike. Because he filled out my pre-session questionnaire, I was able to create a playlist just for him during the shoot! It set the perfect vibe from start to finish as we took pictures around the courthouse and downtown.

Spring is Riley's favorite season, and I love that we got to capture him in his element during the time of year he loves most. 🌿 It really does show in every single frame. Riley is such a kind and smart young man, and this fall he is starting his freshman year at UTC 🎓

I'm excited to see what amazing things he does! Thank you, Riley, for allowing me to document your senior year 👏

Counting down the month of May with Cason's delightful senior session at McCallie School this spring!

So many of my clients ask me if they can bring their dog to their shoot, fairly certain I'll say no. But it's the exact opposite 🙌 Let's absolutely include your pets in your pictures! Loved that Cason brought his dogs to campus 🐶

Being a border student from Louisiana, he spent a lot of time away from his family while in school. However, he is starting his freshman year this fall at Tulane University studying Psychology. Cason is excited to head back to his home state ❤️He's going to do great things!

Shooting at McCallie every year is personally special for me. Thank you Cason and Jennifer for trusting me with your senior portraits! GO BIG BLUE 💙

Follow me as I countdown to the end of May and share highlights from my high school and college senior sessions I shot this year, from fall to spring 😍

Addie's senior portraits on her family's farm in north Georgia was definitely one for the books! The light was amazing and we got to include her horses and cows 🐄🐴 She has such a huge heart and sweet personality! One of her must-wear outfits for her photoshoot was a flowly dress with cowboy boots. Addie pulled it off with perfection 🙌

She is graduating from Silverdale Baptist this week and will be attending High Point University in NC this fall! Can't wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes 🎓

🧡Izzy, UTK Class of 2026 🧡

What an absolutely joy it was to be Izzy's senior photographer at UT Knoxville! A session like this has been on my bucket list FOREVER, and we had such a great time! We had to reschedule once due to the weather, but it was SO worth it!

As you can imagine, with it being so close to graduation, it felt like every single senior was having their photos taken on campus! However, because we planned out every location by choosing specific places ahead of time, shooting at each spot was a breeze (even Ayers Hall)!

Many members of my family graduated from UT and we've had football tickets for almost 50 years (wow, right?), so I know this campus like the back of my hand and knew just exactly where the sun would set and where we would have the best light 🌞

Izzy also recently got engaged so in addition to taking pictures of just her, we included her fiance and her pretty ring for a few shots. And let's not forget, her little dog Oliver joined in too! 💍🐾 Izzy plans to continue her education in audiology after graduation.

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to document your amazing time in college!! I know the future is bright for you 👏 GO VOLS!! 🧡🤍🧡🤍

🩷Alex's SNEAK PEEK, Class of 2026 🩷

While many seniors choose trending or popular spots around town, shooting at your own home brings a personal touch that those locations simply can't offer. Alex brought her own special magic to the session by having pictures taken on her property.

The weather wasn't what we had planned as it became overcast, but Alex's photos came out perfect! She is an absolute sweetheart and a delight to be around. Sweet, funny, adventurous, and caring are what make her such a lovely young lady 🥰

Alex chose my larger package which comes with my Outfit and Prop Closet. I offer seniors like Alex the option to choose clothing, jewelry, and extra items to include in their shoot. She wore some necklaces and earrings and even used my big wicker chair!

We started her session in the field next to her house and moved to the front yard with the beautiful lake and fence in the background. But that wasn't the end of her shoot! We got some private moments with her alpacas in the backyard 😍

Thank you Alex for honoring me with the opportunity to be your senior photographer this spring 👏 I know you will do AMAZING things after graduation!

Rivers, mountains, trees, OH MY!!

So excited to share this sneak peek of 🌟Mackenzie🌟 She loves spending time outdoors, so we made it a plan to shoot along the Ocoee River to capture this important milestone. ⛰️

I love learning more about my seniors before their session with a detailed questionnaire! Mackenzie loves to read (fav author is Colleen Hoover), loves watching the movie "Five Feet Apart" on repeat, and like all of us, loves to shop at Target. 🎯

It's no surprise that country music is her jam and her favorite school trip this year was when all of the seniors went camping. 🏕 The coolest part about Mackenzie's photoshoot was her wearing her mom's letter jacket from her senior year at the same high school!

Mackenzie is planning on studying nursing, and I know she's going to be a great nurse just like her mom. 🩷Thank you so much for allowing me to document this special time of your life!

Nothing compares to an AMAZING senior shoot when you have perfect light, beautiful models, a great instructor who makes shooting and posing look effortless, and a group of women who are just as passionate about photography as you 😍
My heart was so happy to be a part of RESET again this past week!

Emma and Aly, thank you for being the best models and being so cool, flawless, and funny through the whole shoot! Thank you Sarah for giving us so much instruction and tips for how to pose and make senior girls feel confident ❤️

Can't wait to blog this one!! 📝
