Believe it or not, 2025 marks our 18th year behind the camera. While the last few years have been quieter for us, we’re excited & invigorated to be back in action, and we’re starting off with a brand new offering that we’re very excited about.

Introducing our fine art sessions.

Our goal of these sessions is to create classic, moody images in a black & white, film-style format. Captured on a black backdrop, these sessions focus on thoughtful posing with an emphasis on natural expressions.

Happy birthday to the ! 5 years ago, we had photographed hundreds upon hundreds of kids, and we were itching for a fun new project. Our concept embodied what we love the most... simplicity, clean lines & classic style. We decided to test this concept and make it a fundraiser for the children’s emergency center at Albany Med, scheduled to open that summer.

Not only did the project raise over $6000 for the emergency center, but it ignited a passion in us for this style of imagery. We found we were able to capture all of those precious details that are so easy to miss otherwise. We found kids loved the relaxed nature of these sessions & getting to show their true personality. Even more exciting to us, we found that these images were perfect for our clients who needed a little more time to warm up, or whose particular needs aligned well with a simple, low stimulation environment. Parents who never were able to find success having their kids photographed in traditional settings FINALLY had an option. We can't wait to continue to focus on and expand these special sessions as our hallmark offering in 2023.

Looking to book a session between now & the end of the year? Here’s an update on what’s on tap!

✖️ We have two spots available for our next sessions on 9/25. We are keeping a wait list for our otherwise sold out date on 11/20. These are the last unportrait sessions before 2023!

✖️ Our fall calendar is otherwise limited to classic sessions, and our calendar is at least 75% booked. Email us to discuss available dates.

✖️ We will be back at our very favorite spot, Vischer Ferry General Store for holiday pop ups on 11/26. We have an extensive wait list for these sessions but if we are able to open them up on Instagram, we’ll be posting this week. Be sure to check back!
