One week from Monday I’ll be heading back to Somerset Hills Country Club for the NJPGA Head Professional Championship.

Last year I happened to be on property for a fantastic sunset and one of my favorite evenings of shooting I’ve ever had. Somerset Hills holds a special place in my heart as maybe my favorite golf course I’ve ever played. It consistently receives high praise and the club deserves every bit of it. Everything about Somerset Hills is golf purity, and I’m excited to get some new images in just over a week!

Alpine Country Club will play host to the 43rd NJ Mid Am next week, and it should be a great test for the players.

In a time when so many course are taking down so many trees, this 1928 Tillinghast design still flows through the woods on the majority of holes. One of the few respites from tree trouble is the par 4 second hole (photos 2 and 4) which instead challenges the player with water hazards both off the tee and on their approach.

With the PGA Championship ending yesterday, I wanted to do one more practice round photo dump from last week. It was an absolute privilege to be able to carry my camera around at a Major Championship. I’m definitely looking forward to whenever my next opportunity to shoot a PGA Tour event may come.

A return to our regularly scheduled programming with some updated shots from the incredible North Jersey Country Club.

It seems with every passing year, this place just continues to get better. After restoring the original par 5 10th hole two winters ago, this past winter, the club made some changes to the 18th, eliminating the last fairway bunkers on the entire property. That’s right - while the course still has its fair share of green-side bunkers, there is not a single fairway bunker on any hole!

Well last week I said I wanted to improve my tournament photography this year, and what better opportunity to do that than a Major Championship!

I had the pleasure of shooting a few photos at the Monday and Tuesday practice rounds at the PGA Championship. It still feels a bit unreal - it’s my first time with a camera at a PGA Tour event, and for it to be a PGA Championship at that is pretty awesome.

A goal of mine this year is to improve my golf tournament photography. I love the drone work - getting up in the sky and shooting a golf course in the early hours of the morning is truly one of my favorite things - but covering golf events for the New Jersey PGA is what I do for a living and it is something I really want to focus on improving in 2026.

Part of that will be intermittently sharing some of my favorite shots from events throughout the year on here. We’ll be right back to our regularly schedule drone photo programming soon (I’ve got some shots from North Jersey earlier this week that I’m very excited about) but for now, I hope you enjoy these views from ground level!

Tomorrow, I’m headed to North Jersey Country Club for the 40th New Jersey PGA Match Play Championship. NJCC is one of my favorite courses in the state, and I expect it will be a perfect spot for Match Play. Nearly every hole on the course is birdie-able or bogey-able which should lead to players never truly being out of matches until they’re over. It should be a great week!

Here are a few of my favorites from Little Mill Country Club in Marlton New Jersey.

Little Mill is a 27 hole facility located in Southern NJ, and I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Red and White nines. The course does a fantastic job at working around an through the at times dramatic natural land features. The blend of woods and sand barrens make for a really compelling round of golf.
