PLEASE be aware!! I almost got scammed.

I’ve been going back and forth with someone since March 20th who I thought was a volleyball coach with “FX Volleyball Foundation” looking to book team headshots. I’ve done sessions like this before, so I was excited to work with a team again.

At first, everything seemed completely legit. But recently, a few emails started raising red flags 🚩

The biggest one: they claimed they “accidentally” wrote me a check for $1,000 and then asked me to send the remaining money to their “videographer.” Immediately NO.

They even provided a location in Waco, along with a date and time for the session, which made it feel even more real.

It’s honestly scary how convincing these scams are. Please be careful, trust your gut, and NEVER agree to send money to a third party like this.
