Creativity is what makes us human ✨

The reason Marke and I started this business, the reason we became friends in the first place, is because we both value creativity. Marke is a fashion designer, but she also draws, paints, and dances. I am a photographer, but I’m also an author, a crocheter, and a recipe developer. We have no desire to outsource our creativity. Why on earth would we? The process of making something IS the fun part!

Every post you see on this page was written by one of us, as was every word on our website. Our flyers are made by us. Marke conceptualizes her designs, draws them out, makes a pattern, then cuts and sews the designs by herself. I am an intuitive photographer, and I make most posing, composition, and creative choices in the moment while shooting, and I do not use AI in my editing process.

Creativity is our entire lives. We agreed when we started this business that we would rather our flyers look like this than outsource that to an inhuman machine.

What is a siren?
A siren is dangerous. She is alluring. She wields her temptation as a weapon. Because she cannot be captured, she is to be feared.

What is a mermaid?
A mermaid is enchanting. She is benevolent. She poses no threat to humanity; sometimes, in popular media, she will even turn into a human herself.

Marke and I couldn't decide if she was a mermaid, a siren, or something else entirely. Both can sing, but one uses her voice for beauty and the other for destruction. Both are often portrayed as objects of male desire. One is depicted as a villain and a temptress. Both are powerful, otherworldly, and misunderstood.

Powerful women have gone by many names throughout history: Siren, femme fatale, bitch. They have to slap a label on us so we become less scary. I say that they don't get to define us. Maybe Marke is a siren, maybe she's a mermaid, maybe she's a shark, or maybe she's just a good old-fashioned bitch. But she gets to write her own story ✨

Fantasy photography isn't about dressing up as someone else; it's coming home to yourself.

While we love to play dress-up (who doesnt?!) and we have a wardrobe FULL of gowns, outfits, accessories, and tiaras to do just that, "dress-up" is not the mission of our studio. Our mission is always to show you the powerful, fantastical person that you already are.

We don't believe in "too much." Whether you are a goddess of the underworld, a snow queen, a frolicking faerie, a princess in a gown, or something completely unique & your own, we are here to guide you.

One year ago, we strolled into a rose garden on a hot summer day and took photos of a bright pink ballgown. Designer and photographer, working together to create a magcial moment straight out of a fairytale! 🩷
That day holds a special meaning to us, as it is the true beginning of our story and the inspiration of our name.

So let's go back to the beginning. It all started when I decided I would make my dream dress. I had worked tirelessly for months, and challenged Nicole to photograph our first outside photoshoot. We dealt with poor weather, unexpected guests, and the constant summer heat! However, it was all worth it in the end.

That day, we both discovered not only how well we work together, but our true potential to create dreams into a reality. Whether you wish to be a princess in a rose garden, or a witch in the woods, or maybe even a maiden in the glen. ✨️

Personally, I've always had a desire to dress-up and live carefree like a princess. That desire has been my biggest inspiration when designing and sewing evening gowns. I hope to help other women feel like the princesses, queens, and goddesses we all are. 🧚‍♀️

Not only do we have many garment pieces to choose from, so that you can customize your look, but we also feature locally made handcrafted gowns available! Plus the ability to create your own custom design!

So what does this mean exactly? Well you can either pick from our typical clothing rentals. These include different sizes and colors of skirts, blouses, lace-up waist cinchers, and dresses! Our wardrobe rentals are included in your photography package with no additional fee!
