I truly enjoy every opportunity to travel to San Antonio with the LSU Geaux Shotgun team. There’s something special about these trips—the energy, the dedication, and the bond that brings everyone together.
It really feels like family. The support goes far beyond just the athletes—you can see it in the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings who show up, cheer loud, and stand behind these kids every step of the way. Their sponsors play a huge role too, helping make these opportunities possible and believing in these athletes’ potential. And the coaches—whose time, guidance, and commitment help shape not only skilled competitors, but strong, disciplined young people—are such an important part of it all.
That kind of support from every direction creates something truly special.
It’s always a privilege and an honor to capture a few moments through my lens for these incredible kids and their amazing support system. Being able to freeze those memories in time means so much to me, and every trip reminds me just how grateful I am to be part of something so meaningful.
