Sometimes the season does not go as planned but it goes better than some. Our track today was for a 17 point buck, hunter said he wasn’t sure if he hit it or not since there was no blood found or bolt. He wanted to have closure just to make sure.

Upon our arrival we found the buck in the same direction the hunter said it ran with about 30 mins in the air, he was found in some extremely tall marsh grass and it was hard to see if he was hit, he was extremely alert and we were not certain it was a kill shot or a hit at all so a follow up was scheduled for tonight

Upon arrival for follow up the buck was no longer in the same bed, and was nowhere to be found in the marsh. The buck will live another day. Things like these are ok since he was never bumped I’m sure the hunter will see him again!

Deer season is right around the corner! 3 seasons experience over 250 deer recovered. Tracking costs $250 under an hour drive, an hour and over goes to $300. Not a penny more and followup flights are free until the hunter is satisfied!!
