We are centrally located between Flint & Saginaw in Clio, Michigan. This session was extra special to me because I got to photograph one of my very favorite people in the world — my sister — and her sweet little family. ❤️

I adore this girl more than words can say, and I loved being able to capture these moments of her with her husband and their boys. She is such a wonderful mom, and I love watching her love on her boys and build this beautiful life with her family.

Being a photographer means I get to capture so many wonderful families and being able to freeze a little piece of this season of life is always an honor. But getting to photograph your own family hits a little differently. These are the days that go by way too fast, and I hope these images always remind them of just how beautiful this (much shorter than you realize) chapter of life is.

We had the opportunity to work with the Clio Marching Band on a fundraising project this year. We photographed each band member and created a wanted poster to drum up some support for their program. We truly met some really great students and had a lot of fun with this project!

Kayley and Colin's wedding last weekend was absolutely amazing! From getting ready all the way to the reception, their day was filled with joy and laughter.

Some of our favorite parts of the day included their beautiful ceremony at St. Lorenz in Frankenmuth (we adore this church for both its gorgeous interior and exterior for portraits), spending time with the bride and groom and wedding party at Castle Museum in Saginaw and around the Covered Bridge for portraits, and of course, photos with their beloved dog.

Kayley and Colin's first dance was beautifully choreographed and executed perfectly - they did such a great job! We also love that Colin grew many of the flowers used in their reception decor. They had so many great personal touches throughout their day.

It was our joy to spend the day with Kayley and Colin, their families, wedding party, and guests! ❤
