When building your wedding timeline, be sure to build in some time to just be in the moment and breathe. Embrace that "oh my gosh we just got married!" feeling.

Last summer, Tori and Carter got married on a very warm June afternoon, so we got through the photos as quickly as possible to keep the wedding party from melting, so they had a bit of time to chill out before the reception began. 😅

Those candid moments are some of my favorite to photograph, when you don't even realize I'm there. 💞

I will admit, when I was planning my own wedding a thousand years ago, florals were the last thing I really cared about. I just wanted a bouquet and a few pretty flowers in the church sanctuary. My main concern was staying within a budget. But after shooting over 100 weddings, I can truly say that beautiful florals can absolutely elevate your wedding experience! And they don't have to break the bank--from single flowers to realistic silk or wooden bouquets, a good florist will help you figure out a way to include flowers in your color palette in as many ways as possible, through bouquets, ceremony decor, table settings, and other creative ideas!

It's peach season, which means peach pies are in season...and if you live in the York County/Charlotte area, you absolutely MUST try a peach pie by my favorite pie maker, ! I got to watch her do her magic in the kitchen at a branding session last summer, and holy moly...what a process! She hand-makes the dough and puts several pounds of fresh peaches (and loads of love and joy) into her homemade pies, and they are DELICIOUS. 🍑 🥧 If your mouth isn't watering after scrolling through these pictures...

One of my favorite types of portrait sessions to photograph is a maternity session. There’s something about being able to grow a human inside your body that is just magical! Don’t think of it as a time when your body is all out of whack; your body is performing a miracle! It’s so important to document this special time in your life. It should absolutely be remembered!

Today was a blast…and now I think I need to start taking Pilates classes! ❤️ Love working with former teacher buddies and local business owners!

There’s something powerful about women supporting women. ✨

Today was filled with creativity, collaboration, and so much encouragement as RWD Social Marketing and Kimberly Cauble Photography teamed up for an amazing photoshoot at ATS Pilates. When women come together to lift each other up, incredible things happen, and today was proof of that.

Grateful for the connections, the laughter, and the opportunity to create alongside such talented women. Here’s to building each other up, celebrating one another, and making magic together. 💛

I have known Rena for 20+ years; she was one of the most inspirational teachers and mentors to me in my teaching job, and now that both of us are retired from teaching, I'm get to work with her again! She started her own social media marketing business a few years ago after she retired, and she is so creative. (Retired teachers are SO skilled, creative, and marketable!) I got to take some branding photos for her this past Spring, and we are partnering up to offer photography + social media to other local brands! Branding photography is something I am going to be able to do a lot more of since I now have my weekdays to work on my own terms, and I love that I am going to be able to help some of her clients create imagery that she will be able to use for their social media marketing!

This Spring when Mae and Jacob came out for their engagement session at , we realized I had actually taught Jacob as a 5th grader! I remember him as this little tiny ball of energy...and now he is marrying one of my teacher friends and coworkers! I am so excited to be photographing their wedding this September.
