Fun Fact: The blue pigment can indicate if a blue-footed b***y is nourished. The more pigmented the blue, the healthier the bird.

Wildlife like this is why the Galápagos is pure magic.

Fun fact: When the Galapagos Islands were discovered by Spanish explorers back in 1535, the gigantic tortoises made such an impression, they decided to name the islands after them. ‘Galapago’ was the old Spanish word for ‘saddle’, which described the shape of the tortoises’ shells

This spot truly took my breath away — the stillness, the color, the way the mountains reflect in the water. It’s one of those places that makes you just stop and soak it all in.

I know I haven’t been posting as much lately. Life has been busy and I’ve been really focused on my career. Along with photography, I’m also a travel advisor — which means I get to help people not just see these views through my lens, but actually experience them for themselves.

So if Bow Lake (or anywhere else I share here) has you daydreaming, just know I’d love to help make that trip a reality for you too.
