It's international self-care day!
Some of the things that I do for self-care include:

1. coloring in my plant themed coloring book

2. taking 30 minute showers while watching Tik Tok

3. driving to goodwill and looking for a single outfit but challenging myself to only buy quality brands, and trying to leave with a FULL outfit for under $25

4. making my quad shot latte in the morning with all the specials to help my day start off happy.

5. I force myself to put on makeup, look for some clothes I like, force myself to take fun pictures of myself, and look at those photos of myself to remind me that I'm a fu***ng badass and IDGAF what people think about it.

What do YOU do?! And don't say normal things that you should be doing like showering and eating bruh. hahaha

I'm obsessed with this new trend of couples having small weddings or elopements that are SIMPLE! Kate & Josh are both doctors with busy schedules and lives and chose to have a sweet courthouse wedding in Baltimore before moving cross country to start their lives together to commemorate their time here!!! I miss waking up at 10A on a Saturday morning, running down the stairs and turning on Ahh Real Monsters while eating fruit loops not thinking about how bad it is for me, or how unproductive I’m being, or wishing I woke up earlier to get more things done.

I miss making mix tapes with my CD/Cassette player combo and I can literally feel my fingers turning the tape in the cassette tape because my stereo wasn’t rewinding fast enough.

I miss being excited about my new Lisa Frank journal and the cute mini pens that fit perfectly into the spine of it.

I miss my vtech blue see through wired phone that I could call anyone I wanted but only called my grandmother to watch Wild America together.

I miss being bored and going outside and literally just climbing pine trees to look at squirrels nests or pretending I had an invisible friend who was running from invisible dinosaurs from me.

I miss the feelings of the 90s when we didn’t HAVE to be productive and it was normal to just relax on the weekends or after work and not feel so pressured to go go go and more more more. We were just so content and didn’t realize how good we really had it or how busy life was going to get 😫

imma say it again... babies are little for only so long. if you wait too long to book, you might miss out. I always tell my parents to book for 1 week after their due date and to book when you're between 18-20 weeks pregnant --- if you're wondering, we WILL move your session around as long as you notify me within 48 hours of your delivery to make sure we capture this time!!!
