September Sunrises
When I first started this project, I thought I might do it for a couple of weeks, maybe a month. But more than three months later, I’m still at it—and it’s been incredibly therapeutic.
What continues to amaze me is that nearly every photo is taken from the same spot on the beach. Some mornings there are people where I usually stand, so I move up or down the shoreline a little, but most days it’s the exact same view. And yet, every day looks and feels completely different.
Sometimes the beauty is in the sunrise itself—the color, the clouds, the reflection on the water. Other times it’s in the birds along the shore or the people quietly passing by. Some mornings the beauty is obvious, and other days it hides behind gray skies and soft light, waiting to be noticed.
This video is a little longer than the last one, but narrowing down the images was much harder this time. Each sunrise feels like its own small story, and I hope you enjoy watching them as much as I’ve loved capturing them.
