I found one of the bigger rams hanging out in the canyon today. He looks shaggy in preparation for losing his winter coat. The light was great, and the new spring grass was beginning to make its short appearance in the canyon. He was just watching one of his buddies enjoying the new shoots of grass.

I took this picture of the Aurora Borealis last fall. What an amazing light show, sent all the way from the sun. Even in the darkest of times, there is a light we can't see, but we feel comfort from knowing it's there, just waiting for its turn to shine. In the meantime, enjoy the show.

Another beauty. Mountain Bluebird sitting on a Juniper Branch.🙂
These small birds are a real challenge to catch with your camera. They are constantly moving from the ground, where they catch small insects, back to a spot to set up for the next small meal. Their coloring is beautiful.
