Brr! Time to figure out how to keep the birdbaths/drinking water from freezing. I've got little solar powered fountains and balls to float in them but will probably need to get a heater with a somehow squirrel proof electric cord.

When I brush my shedding cat Cookie, I'm putting her fur outside in hoped the birds and or squirrels will find it and use it to warm their nests.

When I'm out paddling it is such a routine I do all my prep automatically. Batteries get charged, gear gets thrown in the dry bag...I hate the sun in my eyes and the wind blowing my hair in my face. Problem solved! Plus, I can drag my hat through the water and then dump it over my head. Skygoat christened.
