This day in the mountains with Aleah and Bryce recently got delivered! Let’s take another look into their day 🤩

What a fun day in the mountains with these two, who came all the way from Wisconsin to elope amongst Idaho’s scenery.

Aleah had stunning and colorful florals done by MakennaRené Floral, and we spent the day exploring one of my favorite areas here in the panhandle.

From starting the day at a sparkling and vivid blue alpine lake, to being surrounded by butterflies as we hiked up the trail, this day was the best mix of everything!

So excited to be heading back to the Tetons next month! So in honor of that, I’m throwing it back to last summer with Kaylyn and Michael!

This spot lets you see the entire Teton range, which was perfect for Michael and Kaylyn to take in the beauty of the mountains, as they travelled all the way from Indiana to take in these mountain majesties!

After some really fun bridals in this spot, they brought a ch*****ne picnic and enjoyed some drinks together in this stunning spot. I had some battery powered candles in my elopement picnic kit, so I brought those out along with my lanterns and we made some magic during this blue hour!

Can’t wait to visit these mountain majesties again soon! 🏔️

This last April I had the honor to photograph Frank and Saira's Proposal on Tubbs Hill in Coeur d'Alene! Usually Tubbs Hill is absolutely packed in the summertime, but this early on in the season there was hardly anyone else out and about and it was just so beautiful with all the wildflowers lining....

Sometimes the best things happen you you decide to just go for it - would you have guessed this elopement was planned in under 3 months?!

Keely and Brandon really wanted to travel across the country to Southern Idaho to elope amongst the mountains and jaw dropping scenery, so after our initial call together they decided they wanted to do it, and it was the most perfect day!! ✨

Keely has been to this area of Idaho before, but for Brandon, this was is first time visiting Idaho! They were so excited, and made sure to include things that were special to them such as bringing letters from family to read together the morning of their elopement, and renting two separate rooms so they could have a first look together!

After their meaningful and emotional first look, they had the dreamiest ceremony on the shores of my favorite lake, and read private vows to one another.

Then it was time to pick up some more coffee of course, and the baristas drew the cutest little drawings on their coffee cups for them!

After doing a little bit of hiking, we decided to head to the lake for a sunset appetizer cruise, with a captain that gave us a boat tour around the lake, which was the absolute perfect way to end this Idaho adventure!

Even with 3 short months, Keely and Brandon hired the best dream team of vendors for this elopement in Southern Idaho, and they truly made this day unique, beautiful, and memorable for all of us!

Happy 1 year anniversary to these two!

Many couples forgo planning a day for the guests and focus on building a one of a kind day for their wedding. If you love the outdoors, you can find couples hiking to a secluded alpine lake, or experiencing a national park together. If you want a chill day, fill it up with relaxed activities like having a mountaintop picnic at a drive up spot, or have a fancy 3 course dinner catered for just the two of you. Things like this don’t make your wedding any less real, it allows time for it to feel real and special!

“Overlooking Coeur d’Alene Lake, this proposal was simple, personal, and beautifully timed. Frank got down on one knee and asked Saira to marry him. After she said yes, they wandered the overlook together, capturing the excitement of the moment and the beauty of Idaho landscape.

“Frank planned to propose to his girlfriend on Tubbs Hill in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He spent a few weeks scoping out just the right spot for their intimate moment, keeping in mind that his girlfriend Saira didn’t want anyone around to witness their special moment! She wasn’t even expecting a photographer to be present. Frank made sure there were incredible mountain views in the background for her, and wanted it during golden hour. I brought my husband along to pretend to be birdwatching near the spot Frank picked out, and have them casually run into us while out on their hike. Frank had the ring in his backpack, and there was a deer down in the distance by the water that we had Saira look at while Frank got the ring out of the bag. Her reaction to the proposal was emotional yet filled with so much joy.”
