WHERE MY NURSES AT? 🤍

September is both NICU Awareness Month and Su***de Prevention Month, two causes that mean more to my family than I could ever fully express.

We are a living, walking testimony to the nurses who show up during the most vulnerable moments of people’s lives. They care for tiny babies, comfort terrified families, support patients through recovery, advocate for those who are struggling, and carry burdens most of us will never see. Personally I believe every nurse we’ve had in our own journey with my husband and child have been angels sent from above. Right now, we appreciate them more than ever.

Because this business has been blessed so tremendously, and another post about that is coming soon, I want to give something back.

I’m giving away a complimentary full photography session to one deserving NURSE. This can be used for a family, maternity, couple, or milestone session. Whatever season of life they would most want documented. Because if it weren’t for nurses, I may have never gotten the opportunity to experience some of these seasons with my own family.

Swine, Lambs Ring B, heifers, goats, steers, and backdrop photos are coming as soon as possible.

Please know that I am working as quickly as I can to get these photos edited, uploaded, and into your hands. My team and I captured over 4,700 photos this weekend, and my goal is not simply to get them posted fast, it’s to make sure I’m giving you the best images from this weekend.

Even in a world where AI can do so much, I still hand edit these photos myself. Every image that makes it into the final gallery is looked over, selected, and edited with care. That process takes a little more time, but I truly believe these memories deserve it. And each gallery has almost 100 images to it!

Thank you so much for your patience, support, and excitement as I work through this HUGE gallery. I promise I’m hurrying as fast as these editing fingers will let me! 😂🤍

Just a tiny glimpse of the smiles, tears, sweat, and fellowship shared this weekend as we came together to honor the life and legacy of Travis Phillips. 🤍

This has become a weekend I look forward to every year, not because of what happens in the ring, but because of what happens around it. A community shows up. Stories are shared. Memories are made. And Travis continues to bring people together.

I’m forever thankful for the families this event has brought into my life and for the opportunity to capture a small piece of something that means so much to so many. Thankful for my amazing crew this weekend for braving the heat, while working as hard as they can for me!

This is what it’s all about. People, purpose, and remembering a life that impacted so many.

It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself, and with so many new faces around here, I figured now was the perfect time.

Born and raised in Bryan–College Station, I’m the Type B owner behind Alex Hill Photography & Design. I’m also a full-time teacher, wife, and mama, so life is busy… but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Oh, and despite my sneaker obsession, I’m an old country music enthusiast through and through.
