A little bit out of my usual realm of photography subjects! 😍

Today I went to my first drifting event, and of course, I couldn’t go without bringing my camera along to try my hand at some action shots! 📸🏎️💨

I had SO much fun stepping outside of my comfort zone and photographing something completely different. I can’t wait to dig through these photos and see if I actually managed to capture any good ones! 😂

I’ll share a few of my favorites later, but for now, here’s a quick cell phone shot from today… along with a photo my sweet man secretly snapped of me doing my thing behind the camera. ❤️

Fun fact! As you all know, my son has been working as an apprentice alongside me at some of my sessions. But did you know that when you give permission for him to tag along, you also get the added bonus of photos captured directly by him?! 🙌

It’s honestly so neat seeing the different angles he finds, the way he frames his shots, and the technique he’s developing all on his own. He’s learning so much, and watching his photography grow has been such a cool experience.

🌊🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾🌊

Maple celebrated by taking her FIRST float trip last weekend… because apparently being a Great Dane isn’t dramatic enough without putting 120+ pounds of dog on a raft. 😂

She handled the river like a CHAMP and somehow managed to draw attention everywhere we went. 🥹
