Amazing turnout in Collinsville for the Cherokee Nation Registration Event. We are guessing numbers of folks in and out of the event were north of 500.

Grand entry around 5pm CT both days.

Victory Cherokee Organization has changed the name of their hog fry to "Buel Anglen Annual Hog Fry" in memory and honor of Buel Anglen for all that he has done for our local communitie and the people of the Cherokee Nation. ,

Cara Cowan Watts shared theses pictures of Buel Anglen, what a great man he was and still is in hearts of many.

A look back over the years. During the Covid outbreak, Danny Stanley gathered the Victory Cherokee members for a food giveaway. I think we served 300 that cold morning.

If I remember, the late Maggie Studi wanted to get out of the house so several members went and got her, put her in a lawn chair out from everybody. Being by yourself for so long during this was hard on everybody.
