This verse is a well-known summary of the gospel. It describes God’s love for everyone and his plan to make his children happy. The verse explains that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to earth because he knew life would be full of challenges and uncertainty. Jesus lived a perfect life, taught the gospel, and sacrificed his life to pay for our sins.
