Graduation at the Air Force Academy is more than just a one day ceremony. The week leading up to that ceremony is filled with several key events that mark the successful completion of the rigorous academic and military schedules. One of those events is the graduation parade. At the beginning of the parade, Firstclass cadets showcase some of the clubs they were a part of during their time at the academy. Clubs like the soaring club, falconry, saber, drill, and Wings of Blue showcase their skills for the audience. During the parade, the firsties seperate themselves from the wing signifying their departure while the lower classmen assume the role of leadership. The parade concludes with the wing marching off leaving the seniors on the field.
