A little behind-the-scenes from Florida! 🌿💦

A few people have asked if the underwater images I've been sharing are AI-generated.

Nope. This place is very real.

These were photographed in one of Florida's incredible freshwater springs with crystal-clear water, natural light, and visibility that looks and feels dreamy, almost unreal.

And this is Astrid, one of the amazing models who helped bring these creative concepts to life during the workshop!

Seeing these images come together in camera was one of those moments I'll never forget. For years, I had underwater portraits living only in my imagination. Standing in these springs and finally creating them felt a little bit like a dream.

Now I'm working to bring that same magic home to Colorado. 💙

Want to know what happens when you give siblings a funny prompt? 😂

These moments lasted all of about 3 seconds.

The secret isn't just the prompt—it's being ready for what comes next. Kids this age are FAST. One second they're hugging, the next they're making faces, sneaking kisses, and cracking each other up. 🤣

That's why experience matters. Great family photography isn't about getting kids to sit still. It's about knowing how to create genuine moments and having the reflexes to capture them before they're gone.

And trust me... these are the moments you'll treasure forever. ❤️

One location. One outfit. A little Colorado wind. Two boys who would rather be doing just about anything else. 😂

And yet...

We captured individual portraits of each child, sweet moments with mom, sibling portraits, family images, candid laughter, genuine connection, and images that tell the story of this season of life.

This is why I always tell moms not to stress. Your kids don't have to be perfect. They don't have to smile on command. They just have to show up and be themselves.

The magic is already there. ❤️
