I believe that women deserve to know how the men in their lives treat other people, especially other women, because that speaks to character.

Part of why I feel so strongly about this is that we've seen countless examples of people living double lives. There have been online communities dedicated to teaching men how to manipulate and exploit women. There have been horrific cases where women discovered that their own spouses had been drugging them, recording sexual assaults, or engaging in behavior they never imagined was happening behind closed doors while they were asleep!! Obviously, I'm not saying a rude Facebook comment is the same thing as those crimes. My point is that character matters, and the way people behave when they think there are no consequences can reveal things that those closest to them may never otherwise see.

I still stand by calling out the behavior itself. I also stand by my belief that spouses and family members deserve to know how someone treats others. But I can acknowledge that involving a child be it a minor or adult child is not the right way to do it, and I corrected that.
