Not all photos are created equal!
How can they differ?

From any photographer you work with, there should be variety. Not just a gallery delivered all in black and white, and the same gallery delivered in color.

Sometimes people show up ready for photos because they’ve Hurd and Ben told that they need photos but they don’t fully understand the importance of having photos of themselves. Even on fact, they still can feel unsure about the idea of all of this production around a photo shoot of themselves. Like their businesses should speak for itself. But….

Recognition and creating familiarity between yourself and your clients or your consumers prior to having met is really important especially in a small town…

Remaining my clients that all parts count.

Sometimes they just don’t know or they’ve forgotten that through it all they’re the thread that pulls it together.

The logo, the photos, the feel, the experience of the atmosphere they’re inviting clients into…it’s all building trust and familiarity.

If that feels like you, a brand architecture session might be in your future.

Follow to learn how to better pull your brand together to allow people to understand what they could experience by hiring you or purchasing your product.

You know that theory that when you buy a specific type of car, they’re suddenly everywhere? Lately, I’ve been having this conversation...the idea of understanding who we are inside of a thing and staying true to that notion. And more importantly, the results when we do. Not for the sake of producing but for the experiencing of staying true to your own North.

The work feels a little less like work.
The creating feels a bit more magical.
The effort suddenly feels more like effortlessness.

Then I heard Rick Rubin wrapping all of this up with a pretty little bow, as he does.
When we go back to pushing out the noise of the world and the energy people put into recreating something that’s been done, we return to ourselves, and the magic happens.

I live and breathe by this.
When I work in my genius, it becomes more.
When my clients work in their confidence of the services they offer or the product they provide, and they don’t show up to look like someone else, their feeds pop off, their client list expands, and their efforts are suddenly not for naught.

Let’s lean into that, more.

The Art of Noticing.....
It adds deep value to give yourself moments in the day to stop and absorb.

It’s a gift that then shows up during a creative rut or becomes a push to complete something beautiful, and no matter what industry you’re in, noticing moments of beauty has so much more to do with being a whole human than achieving success—however, it all ties together.

And yes, I typed an emdash.
I’m pushing back against AI and reclaiming them.
ha!

Tap the heart, leave an emoji if you love all of the beautiful things.

This shoot will never not be one of my all-time favorites. Why is it important and what is it teaching us?

The mood.
The fits.
The beauty.

Jen Bryant completely understands the value-add of comprehensive branding and consistent use across all platforms and marketing materials.

This decision brings impact, establishes trust, and allows her customers to give themselves permission to spend more on her services because she presents herself as well thought out, well educated in her field, and able to deliver a service that is sought after, over and over by women all over Colorado Springs.

Jenn has never once come to me without a moodboard, or a small collection of photos that she’s been brewing on for weeks/months. She has an idea of where and how she’ll use the photos and why they’re useful to her.

Preparation = success.
Consistent refresh of branding = interest.
Beautiful deliverables used consistently = trust.

If you’re ready to refresh, let’s talk.
