B + D’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards in Charlottesville, Virginia, was the perfect celebration.

During their vows, when B said that D felt like the exhale after holding her breath too long, it got me teary-eyed. But the heart of this wedding was family. You could feel it in every part of their day. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and absolutely took over the dance floor all night long.

Their choice of details made this day vibrant to photograph! Bright summer florals, a Kleinfeld’s gown with the most beautiful laced bodice, a custom suit made just for D (because the groom deserves to feel just as special), and of course, the vineyard views. Every detail felt intentional and alive.

I enjoyed bonding with these two. During our final planning meeting, we discovered we share the same anniversary weekend, and they are honeymooning in Thailand in October (my husband and I did the same thing). Some things are just meant to be. 🤍

M + J’s wedding at Stone Tower Winery. A little glass breaking, a lot of being lifted into the air, and the kind of joy that comes from two families who clearly adore each other.

M’s father gave the kind of speech that gets you right in the chest, picturing the two of them decades from now, grey-haired, still traveling the world together, still saying they lived every single day fully. I adore their love for traveling, and I saw so much European inspiration in their wedding day details: Aperol Spritz, crepes, vineyard landscape. Makes sense why they plan to honeymoon in Italy (so romantic!)!

Coming home from the most memorable trip of my life and feeling every bit of the whiplash.

Italy. France. Monaco. Brian and Nat are ENGAGED (!), the Monaco F1 race, dancing on tables, Birthday celebrations, and the most epic yacht experience. So deeply grateful for friends, my husband, and my parents for watching our boys so we could soak up every single moment. ❤️

The warmth of both families said everything about the character of this couple. And then a horse-drawn carriage to close out the ceremony. Because of course!

Something new is here, and it feels really good.

For a while now I’ve felt this quiet but undeniable pull. A fire to grow, to elevate, to show up even more fully for the people who trust me with their most sacred moments.

So I listened.

New headshots. New logo. New website. But more than a fresh look, this is a reflection of who I’m becoming and where I’m going. 🤍

My heart has always been in the joy. The laughs. The happy tears. The in-between seconds that make a wedding day feel entirely yours. That hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s only gotten clearer.

I am so proud of what’s been built and I cannot wait to share it with you. What a great way to celebrate my 14th business anniversary this week than a big refresh!

I almost minored in art history and sometimes it shows.

This past weekend I looked at my screen in the middle of a bridal suite at Great Marsh Estate and all I could think was Manet. A black and white frame, soft light, slightly blurred, and something about it felt less like a photograph and more like a painting.

Manet had this gift for capturing ordinary moments with intimacy. A quiet stillness. Light that felt alive. And E’s photo reminded me of just that. 🤍
